Norms are the guideline people follow in their relations with one another.

3-culture consists of objects made by people , as well as values and other characteristics people acquire or learn as members of society.

4-material culture includes all things made by people –e.g., clothing houses,food, weapons ,etc

5-non-material culture is a system of knowledge , beliefs ,norms ,values and language.

2-An example of a value is belief in equality.

3-norms are rules specifying how People should behave.

5-some examples of values in US society are success, hard work, efficiency , material comfort , morality , humanitarianism , progress , science , individualism , equality , freedom , patriotism and democracy .

1-they need to learn about non-material culture .
2- the topic of the book is that businessmen should learn about differences in values of different society in order to succed .
3-values in Chinese society are connected to Confucian philosophy . these values include loyalty , repect for parents and elders , and respect for '' face'' or of others.
4- in order to talk advantage of opportunities in China businessmen must understand both their own value system and the Chinese value system .
