The Profession of Engineering
The Engineering is one of the most work scopes important. It`s contain a lot of division like the Electrical Engineering, Industrial engineering, civil Engineering,.... , and we will talk in these journal about the Industrial Engineering in general .
Industrial Engineering challenges you to improve, design, manage, evaluate, and test production systems. You’ll be looking at the how’s of the economy; this means looking at how a product is made or a service is given, and your ultimate goal is to improve the quality of those products and services.
Unlike other engineering majors, Industrial Engineering focuses on people. You’ll have classes in ergonomics and human factors and study how people are a part of a production system, of course investigating how they can do work more efficiently, or how a production system can be designed to better serve them.
Although Industrial Engineers originally only dealt with manufacturing, today they have a wider range of options. Food, banking, health care, and commercial aviation are only a few of the sectors that rely on Industrial Engineers to make them more effectively deliver their wares. The skills of Industrial Engineers better countless aspects of our society.

What is Industrial Engineering?
Industrial Engineering is concerned with the design of production systems. The Industrial Engineer analyzes and specifies integrated components of people, machines, and facilities to create efficient and effective systems that produce goods and services beneficial to mankind.
What is a Production System?
Anywhere there is a "value-added" enterprise, there is a production process. The IE focuses on "how" a product is made or "how" a service is rendered. The goal of Industrial Engineering is improving the "how."
Is Industrial Engineering strictly "industrial"?
Since production systems are found anywhere there is an attempt to provide a service, as well as produce a part, the methodologies of Industrial Engineering are applicable. In that sense, the adjective "industrial" should be interpreted as "industrious", referring to the process of being skillful and careful. In many departments, Industrial Engineering is called "Industrial and Systems Engineering" in an attempt to make it clear that the industrial adjective is intended to be generic.
Where do The Industrial Engineers work?
Industrial engineers concern themselves with how productivity can be increased through better management and production practices. Industrial engineering jobs are not limited to manufacturing environments. Graduates can also be found in health care, banking and finance, insurance, education, consulting, government, tourism, service, transportation, agriculture, and retailing.
The Industrial Engineers can work with any company or Establishment around the world and there are approximately 2,500,000 Industrial Engineers and they have a professional society It`s called Institute of Industrial Engineering ( I I E) .
