للفائده دي اجابه السؤال



The question was: Mutations in mitochondrial genes frequently produce diseases that affect the brain and skeletal muscle (mitochondrial encephalomyopathies). Why are these two tissues particularly sensitive to mitochondrial mutations?

Answer: because these two tissues rely on the abundant supply of ATP which is produced mainly in the mitochondria.

There will be no multiple choice questions and all of the questions are short answer questions (you can say very much like the three tests)
