yet when u open Oxford dic , u will find the desaster all the examples that the dic provides ,violate the rule i and u agree on if u don't have the book , these r the examples He turned the TV off Turn the light on !! do u have a reasonable answer why is that??a

I found a confusion and massed up of grammar rules

there are 3 types of phrasal verbs with opjects

type 1 : not seprable
verb + particle + object
e.g. they fliked through the newspaper

type 2 : separble
verb + object + paticle
we picked the rest of the party up at the corner

type 3 : two particles
verb + particle + particle + object
I had to come up with a solution quickly
