My Worst Holiday


I was 9 years old when I went to Egypt with my family . The flight was bumpy due to bad weather and I was sick many times . We booked a room in a hotel after landing . However , the room was small and stuffy and we asked for a bigger room but , there were no rooms available .
The next day we went to the pyramids . I felt so dizzy in the narrow , airless , dark , tomb . Then we went to the museum . there were statues of sphinx . I looked at the mummies in the glass cases in fear . When I looked back , I could not see my parents . I was lost . I called out to my parents many times and started crying . Other tourists took me to a policeman He asked me where I was staying , but I could not recollect the name of the hotel . Finally , the policeman took me to the embassy of Saudi Arabia . After few hours , my parents came and took me to the hotel . We went back to Jeddah next morning . It was the worst holiday of my life .
