The similarities and difference between the two

families ekdals and werles .

The two families are similar to each other in some
aspects as ther disgraceful past and family members and different from one another in a number of facets , like background , relations between family members and financial situation .

Firstly , the two families are similar to each other in their disgraceful past and family member .
Concerning their disgraceful past , Hjalmar is sham full from his father's past as hjalmar's father was convicted of cutting trees down illegally on a government property . thus , old ekdal's family lost their money , reputation and social rank .similary, Gregers is disgruntled from his father as he thinks that his father was the real reason for the death of Gregers's mother and the ruin of Ekdeal's family . As for family members, both Ekdals and Werles have similar circumstances in the sense that the wives of Haakon Werle and old Ekdal are dead and both of the bread winners have only one son .

On the other hand ,the two families Ekdals and Werles are different from one another in their background , relations between family members and financial situation.
Regarding the background of the two families , they had the same social class so many years ago , but their life style differed greatly after imprisoning old Ekdal and acquitting Haakon Werle . the Ekdals become poorer and the Werles become richer .
Concerning relations between family member , Gregers deals with his father indifferently and their relation is full of smuch accusation , resentment and disappointment ,because Gregers thinks of gis father greatly contributed to dwath of his mother the destruction of Ekdal family . On the contrary , Hjalmar dealse with his father kindly and passionately Hjalmar tries to please his father and makes him live with Hjalmar's family .
