:first of all you need to be specific

is your research going to answer a question

or

is it going to prove your point of view on a certain subject

you think it through your bretty head to choose a sample of study and to define your sample

meaning
what gender,, what age,, which county/city/region ,, and so on

you start to read more about your subject of research and take a look at previous researches similar to yours

you're going to mention what brevious researches have found and whether you agree or not and then the purpos/goal of your research

any way!

now you need to start gathering your own data(since it's an emperical research,i.e. selfcollected databased)

to do so, you should choose the best way for YOUR subject either questionnairs or direct/indirect interviews whether tape recorded or observation written

now go out and collect what ever this society has to offer!!

then you start calculating the result of your data and you'll start to have findings and stuff like that ,, you know i have found that pla pla pla pla etc.

and then you write the research on the MLA pla pla

and vwala you got youself a nice piece of a term paper which means you don't have to work your* off and just get youself 3 to 4 pages plus the work citation page and

that is all folks

ok ,, gotta go start studying semantics now
